So guys and gals :)

Im bringing him over here and such.. do you think that it will be harder on us because its a woman applying for this and such... just curious as to how many woman have been through this ? and if you thought that it was a little harder or what .. I will be filing for my I-129F petition in a week and the journey for Chris and I begins, (hopefully it will go fairly quick and with no problems. Oh btw, I just wanted to thank all those that have offered help and answers to my questions, I will continue to stay here on this forum throughout our process, and will continue to stay after its all said and done and we are finally together to help others :)

Kind Regards,

Shawna & Chris

Makes no difference from what I've seen. I brought my husband over here on a K1 from the UK in July and was processed the same speed as other male and female petitioners from the UK. Besides, I'm sure if they did have drastically different processing times, whichever sex was disadvantaged would be up in arms.

Makes no difference in processing time whether you're a woman or a man. I think there'd be a lot of angry people if there was!

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Here we go again...

Heck, if anything it should be easier. If there is one thing I think this whole I-129F process tries to filter out it is the illegality of mail-order brides or at least fraudulent cases involving such. How popular are mail-order grooms?

I'm sure you guys will be fine. Good luck on your journey and to a speedy approval. B)

Good luck with your application. You might want to set up a timeline as it will give you an estimated date for your NOA2 and will help make those estimates more accurate.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment
