My Story My Question(s)

I am 24 years old and currently reside in the Philippines. I am getting married to a 27 year old Filipina on Dec. 8th and we are planning on having her immigrate back to South Carolina, USA. My first Question simply is, Which is the fastest way to get her there?

Secondly, I suffer the side affects of a burst blood vessel in the Corpus Colosum of my brain at 14 hours old. I will be seeing someone along with my parents who I live with, about appealing a Social Security claim that was denied some time before the end of last year. I am interested to know if I receive my Social Security, can I put in for a spousal visa and subsequently a waiver that would allow her to come back with me to the states. First off to be absolutely truthful I suffer no visible impediments that can be seen or detected without me telling you. I suffer from sever sinus infections, sever migraine's, balance problems and a strong fear of heights, and I lack 20/20 vision due to an astygmatism in one eye (its really freaky when i cross my eyes only one eye crosses LOL) and last but not least I suffer from severe social anxiety and depression. As I said I am not aware if these problems stem from something chemical or otherwise although i take medication when the migraines arise (one of my arms usually go numb from my shoulder to the tip of my fingers at the initial onset) also for the sinus infections and an anti-convulsant for the electrical spikes in my brain stem from my condition and medication for the depression. I will at times by my previous experiences need someone who can take care of me. Obviously as my (future) wife I will need her for many reasons, but I am looking for any way that I can have her immigrate sooner for the purpose of taking care of me. My mother suffers from a severe auto-immune disease (Scleroderma) and cannot take care of me during the times that I become sick, so it goes without saying that I will need her to take care of me through my sickness and tough times.

I hope that anyone here can help me. If you want to get into with me via e-mail for a more personal discussion hit me up here bigblueboy74@gmail.com

Sorry if I'm being rude. It is not my intention but...

Are you sure you are looking for a wife and not a nurse? Only reason I asked is you said "immigrate her sooner for the purpose of taking care of me."

I sympathize with what you're going through but if I'm in your situation, I will dump my now wife and not even marry her. I love her that much.

Good luck to you man. and god bless.

If you are a resident of the Philippines, as in have residency status there (not "living there" on a visitors visa), you can DCF (direct consular filing). This will result in an immigrant CR1 visa (your wife will be an LPR upon entry (have a green card), be able to work, not need to spend time and money on AOS). This will be quicker than any visa you can get through USCIS service center petitioning (K1, K3, CR1). Best of luck!

Who or how do you plan to accomplish the sponsorship? What will you use for income to qualify as to sponsor your wife? Or is that what you want "waived"?

I'd start by clicking on the word "Guides" at the top of any page. Once you have a better idea of the process, you'll probably have some more meaningful questions but the sponsorship seems to be the biggest stumbling block I see.

Based on your story, I wouldn't hold out much hope for expediting your case. Somehow you managed to travel to and reside in the Philippines without a caretaker. Or did I miss something.

Pushbrk,

I understand if maybe you question my validity, I am in no way offended and I reassure you that I have no desire to break any laws. The problems I have do not affect me on a daily basis unless I am put into such situations that one or more of my problems would kick in. Other than that Im about as normal as can be.

I apologize to those who posted on this thread if my question and/or explanation of my question was vague. Simply all I am asking is if I had social security would it have any bearing directly on my future wife's intentions to immigrate back to the United States.

Nevertheless I am sure that one way or another it may become irrelevant to ask about SS and my wife immigrating.

Urge to Race,

I have been a "permanent resident" of the Philippines for roughly 3 1/2 of the four years I have been here, and hold an "Alien Certificate of Registration" I am curious. What I have read on the internet has stated that I must live in the jurisdiction of the Consulate office close to me to be able to "DCF." I know there is a Consulate in Cebu, and I can definitively say that Cebu is disqualified right off the bat. I think there Consular Office of some type at the Embassy in Manila, but I am unsure of whether it falls into my "jurisdiction." What puts that in doubt as well is that I am in the province of Zambales and upon checking I see that Metro Manila is not apart of Zambales, so my assumption was correct. Is there a Consular office of some sort in the province of Zambales......I need to know because I obviously prefer direct consular filing. Ill check back later, but Ill continue to look for myself.

Thank You

If you are on Social Security then you can't provide affidivit of Support for her. You need a sponsor to do the affidivit of support for your wife and to vouch that your new wife won't be a burden on the society by claiming welfare or other social benefits. Other than that I don't see any problems here.

The answers to my earlier questions are critical to your success. You wife will need a sponsor. If you have that covered, then you being on SS disability benefits won't be a problem. The issue is that if that is your only means of sponsorship, it is not sufficient.

Your "jurisdiction" is the Philippines.

The answers to my earlier questions are critical to your success. You wife will need a sponsor. If you have that covered, then you being on SS disability benefits won't be a problem. The issue is that if that is your only means of sponsorship, it is not sufficient.

Your "jurisdiction" is the Philippines.

your heakth is not an issue in approving a visa.

You ability to support your intended wife is an issue.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.
