My cheque sent to TSC on 26 July (signed for 30 July) has still not been cashed - it's now 15 weeks ago!

Anyone else stuck there ?

According to this weeks stats here

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...0004718190aRCRD

TSC has receipted up to 25 July. Other service centers seem well ahead of Texas, I've even seen posts elsewhere from people who filed in October and have cashed cheques.

We're stuck with you. Our check was sent to TSC on 08 Aug (signed for 13 Aug) and has still not been cashed.

Oh! Hello Denise, Hi! I'd foprgotten that you were filing via Texas too. Thanks. We'll have to summon uncommon patience I fear.

I keep expecting each week that my cheque will suddenly be cashed in spite of the stats, but not so.

I think we must see progress before the end of the month.

I thought for sure I'd be planning my husband's surprise Welcome to the U.S.A. party at this point ....

I'm the same as you - checking my bank account online every day, hoping to see that my check has cleared!

I thought TCS was forwarding everything to CSC. That's what they did with my application. That may be why mine is taking longer than others that was received by CSC.

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensedregistered pharmacist". (because somebody gives a damn)

No, that isn't true. TSC still processes various visas, but K-1s (for at least the last year or two) and I-751s (filed after June 31s 2007) are being transferred to CSC. And there are people still stuck there with no hope of being transferred.

OK... I'll quit whining about how long my K1 is taking. I guess it could be worse.

Well, TSC has moved on one whole day in the receipting update this week - to 26 July.

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...0004718190aRCRD

Other service centers seem to be moving so much quicker - I've seen a report of someone posting their application THIS MONTH and cheques being cashed within days (I think it was at NSC).

We've waited 16 weeks and I feel it's now unacceptable that there is such an imbalance between the service centers.

I've written to the Ombudsman here - had to get it off my chest!:dance:

Erm - no - I mean stand by your computer to check the bank account - I was getting ahead of myself. We'll still have a long wait for something in the postox.
