Honestly whatever fits best - which can be ANY brand - I just find a pair I like and try em on - if they fit well and don't make me go 'they cost HOW much?!' then I get em.. used to be a levis-only gal but I found their jeans ended up too big on the waist for me in 'my' size (and I don't have a tiny waist).

Nowdays I wear low rise jeans anyways and I tend to shop in 'cheaper' places - tho I do buy TopShop's own brand 'MOTO' a lot and they fit great :)

I just got Gap original low rise flare....I like them a lot. Also I have a pair of Guess stretch jeans which I really like...2 for 75 dollars at an outlet store. Jeans I like best are slim fit (don't like the baggy look much), straight leg or boot cut and low rise (but not super low rise) and stretch. Also like tall size - I'm not very tall (5 feet 7) but regular length tends to look too short when sitting down.

I buy all my jeans at a small chain in southern ontario, its called Fashion Max, not one pair goes over $27.99 usually you can find them on sale a lot cheaper. All the same styles etc....and guess who manufactures them? The same people who manufacture levis....just have a different label :)

designer jeans...who needs em...I REFUSE to wear anything with the label 'Buffalo' on my ####### ;)

I have no useful advice to offer, so I shouldn't even be posting here.

But then again, it's a VJ custom to chime in even when you have nothing to say, so here goes.

I'm like dean, I'm not fashionable. I'm also cheap.. so I buy what's on sale.

But my favorite pair of jeans is from the Gap. The most # of jeans I have are Levis.
