It is a mystery why they pick some people to have an AOS interview, and some get approved without an interview (after their case is transferred to a Service Center). I would say over 25% of people get approved without an interview.

NO  if the petition is a simple one, MSC can and dose send the case on to California for further adjudication, and possible approval without interview. This happened with us, and many others.

I don't think it has a lot to do with simple or not simple. Many people with "simple" cases get interviews and people who thought it might be complicated just get approved.

It seems almost random.

Difficult to know why some don't have interviews. I saw where one couple got GC without an interview and they claimed they forgot to submit their ITRs.

Maybe if the the local centers get behind on interviews CSC just grabs a pile and approves them without interviews to help catch up!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
