I also have lost so much hope ! Today marks six months that my petition was received in the mail room... I am frustrated !

Everytime I call the 800 number and enter my petition... I get a recorded message saying that they are waiting for additional documentation... and when I speak to someone they say they are not waiting for anything and my file is still on the shelf awaiting assignment. Two times the customer service personally pulled my files (and called me back) and have told me they are complete just waiting to assign to an officer.

The officer I spoke with today told me that she will call for the file and begin to adjucate it.... but may take up to 30 days!

So.... we will see... any hopes of getting Wendy and Jessica here for Christmas are out the window... I hope she will be here for our first anniversary.

May everyone have a great weekend and prayers for next week....

Congratulations to the approvals this week !

I think it is because our I-129F was so late, so it gets processed based on that NOA1 date? Maybe we can apply for the expedite process?...

I just did a quick estimate for approval time in my forum signature... at this rate, I'm looking at 400 days to reach the consulate for interview.. :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

Estimate for I-130 to get approved

I-130 200 days (until Approval) + 5-6 weeks *35-42 days* (NVC trip) + 3-4 months *90-120 days* (Consulate Trip) + 1 month *30 days* (Consulate) ==> 400 Days (5/20/2008)

Nice birthday present for me next year (5/21), but I really wanted a nice Christmas present this year... =(

Gogo, I completely agree with you. I was also one of the persons caught in the CSC "Computer Glitch". Thanks to their error, I got my NOA1 for my I-130 about 6 to 7 weeks later.

I called today to inquire about my case and they told me they are currently working on it, and that the decision ON MY I-130 ONLY would be made in 7 days. Which makes me happy, but SAD, because they said since I filed my I-129F a couple of months later that it may not be approved together and that I was looking at 30-60 days to get my I-129F approved. This made me really mad, because it was not my fault. Why do we have to pay for their mistakes? If my petitions don't get approved together I will call and ask for the expedite process. It's just not fair.

Good luck to all and thank God this week is over, its been H-E-L-L

Amen to that... This week was HELL at work and ofcourse as far as USCIS is concerned, especially due to those what-I-call-them "fake" touches... Seeing these touches get your hopes high up (no matter what I cant seem to prevent this) and then bam.. the day ends and still NO NOA2...

Talking about touches.. this is interesting... After both of my petitions got touched for past 3 days in a row (Oct 30th, Oct 31st, and Nov 1st), NEITHER of my petitions got touched today (Nov 2nd)... so I assume no adjudicator worked on my app today... :crying::unsure: I guess this just goes futher to show us more of what kind of Black Hole this whole USCIS system is..

JohnWendy, I know exactly what u have been going thru coz I am going thru the same.. I 'll be approaching six months myself pretty soon (in about 10 or so days) and I know its a terrible feeling having to wait this long.. esp when you see people who filed after you are already getting approved.. I am happy for them but I am entitled to some of that too.. Right?

Anyways... I m signing off ... Its been rough and frustrating for past few days... Try to have a good weekend yall.. Let hope for some more NOA2 next week.

TC and enjoy your weekend. Good Luck.

I am really hoping for the best for all of you. CSC even making us wait to the 6 month deadline is cruel, I feel for anyone who is over that. Your approvals can't be much longer.

To anyone over the 6 month processing time, if you haven't got a senator involved yet, I'd really suggest you try that
