I've been known to wrap rocks and charcoal in colorful paper and put it in the bag of those I deemed "too old" for this event.

Candy for all, why not? I had some 'older' trick or treaters last night. They were in costume, they were polite and having a good time, they got some candy...I still have some left anyway.

i know how you feel. My daughter is 11 and as tall as me (im 5'7) and she was turned away by 3 ppl where i had to verify i was her mom and she really wasnt 16 years old.

I got one non-English speaking Hispanic grandmother. No joke. I'm talking at least 75 years old. I thought it was sweet, because I figure she was just getting some candy to give to her grandkids anyway, right?
