SuperNova,

congratulations! please do tell how was it at the interview? were they nice and fast, or they grilled you? was it a long wait?

i read on K-1 forum that NVC is currently not issuing numbers until January 07, 2008. They run out of numbers?

This is the week #4 since our approval and our file hasn't arrived to NVC. I wonder if we are also subjected to quota (I think we are exempt from quotas because it's a family visa?) hm hm hm

I wish that USCIS is working FASTER. how hard is to mail out the approved case ARGH

i read on K-1 forum that NVC is currently not issuing numbers until January 07, 2008. They run out of numbers?

mbdesousa, based on Jumong's post below, it would appear that the above is untrue. NVC is still issuing numbers and sending cases along. Jumong's case was sent the 20th, so it was probably received the 18th.

Also, visas for USC's spouses are not subject to quotas or availability of visa numbers.

Thanks G&A! But it really makes no difference on here (I don't apply to the timeline anymore, but I still have one).. I'll be going in on December 26 to figure out what is wrong.. she did say I can add more evidence if I wanted to.. so I'll bring more emails, wedding pictures, phone records ( + Skype records ), pay stubs, and even my parents.. they can vouch for me that my wedding is real.. sheesh... they can do the interview right there if they want to..

Do you have any documentation showing that you sent your wife money or showing her as the beneficiary to any investments, pensions, life insurance etc? If you dont have this, you may want to get a secondary credit card that is hooked up to your credit card account. This may help...

good luck and happy holidays. Hopefully 2008 will go alot better for you and your wife
