"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. Thanks, i read through whole material in the link. It clearly contradicts with many points of Visa journey guidelines. For example NBC does not like forms to be attached and assembled with ACCO fastners. They require separate money order checks for each file , and collective fee is not accepted as it is mentioned like this

Please refrain from using “ACCO” style fasteners and/or staples (However, it is ok to staple the fee to the top of the primary application package.)

If one financial instrument is submitted, it needs to be attached to the first primary application/petition and needs to contain the name of the applicant to whom it relates. Please note that if more than one Form is filed using a single check and just one is found to be unacceptable, ALL Forms will be returned.

okay

Check the bottom part of this link out. They clearly state they prefer ACCO fastners. I guess it's ok to use them for I-129F but not for I-485..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Don't really need anything. I just put applications in separate folders, with a cover letter explaining contents of each folder.

Good luck.

Thanks dear. Tomorrow is most important day for me. And i hope not to receive RFE . We both are submitting I 130, I 485, I 765 , ( AOS on tourist visa) with all required attachments in separate envelops and then putting them in big envelope through USPS with return receipt request to chicago lock box. ANd then hope for best.If still any suggestions do let me know. I have included three cover letters. One in I 485 envelop from Alien relative that is me. One cover letter from my spouse( US citizen) which is in I 130 envelop and third one is from both of us which is for all envelops . IS it enough or i need some other precautionary measures?

I am little bit tense how ever. :(

The more you stress, the more you are likely to miss something, so relax and put aside a half hour to double and triple check you package...and then just mail it ;)

We used 1 ACCO fastener for our petition, which included the I-485, I-864, I-131 and I-765, assembled in this order. We only included 1 copy of each piece of evidence i.e. birth cert, I-94 and put all this together in the same file with the sticky out label on the bottom saying "Supporting Evidence".

I think once you make it as user-friendly for whoever will be looking at you case, you will be fine.

Good Luckand hope all goes well

* adding: we just used 1 cover letter for the entire file

I thought we didn't need supporting evidence for the Adjustment of Status package. :(

Sorry!! I just meant all the extra documents needed to file: my birth cert, our marriage cert, copy of my biographic page of passport and K1 visa, copy of I-94, copy of Rob's birth cert and biographic passport page.

As these are needed for AOS/EAD and AP, I didn't want to add any unecessary bulk to the package by including 3 copies of each, so I only included 1 copy of each and called them 'supporting evidence" i.e. anything that was not an official USCIS form. I just called them that myself ;)

* Just saw rch99's post...initial evidence is a more appropriate term to use and less mis-leading than mine!
