Hi, I am new here and so far everything I've read has been so informative.

My question is, I'm filling out the I-129F and my problem is that my fiance's address does not have a street address number. It is a very tiny island and it is so different over there. I am not sure why they don't have a street address but would this be a problem w/USCIS?

Should not for USCIS they are more concerned with your US address so that they can mail you things. The consulate is concerned with the foreign address, make sure to have your fiancee's PH number on the petition, the consulate should call to confirm the foreign address.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Include the phone number and simply use the address that will get a package to her visa DHL or other courrier. Otherwise, no worrries. FYI, there are no street addresses in Carmel, CA.

Claudeth's was a strange address, Zone 5 Bayabus. The packet was delivered

It was a long time ago but I lived 14 miles from the nearest small town of 2500. This was before zip codes. Just my name and nearby town on the envelope would reach me just fine and I was only 14 living with and aunt and uncle with a different last name.

I thought it weird that the Filipinos could find Claudeth's place. Of course they also included the family name....I.E.

Nope. It's perfectly fine.

My husband's was:

White House

White Sands P.O.

St. James

Montego Bay, Jamaica

That's what I wrote and it was fine.

It always works for me.

My SO's entire address (minus name) is:

Kobry Feshar

Markz Mahalla

Gharbiya

Egypt

and the spellings vary depending on who you ask  .... their native alphabet is different so spellings are kinda arbitrary :)

That's awesome!! I've been also looking around for people with the same situation as me, i.e. same country of origin as my fiance. Did your fiance have a hard time with the embassy in Barbados? Congratulations, by the way!

Thanks for the info.

Well, we've actually been trying to find persons with their SO from St. Lucia as well. I've only been able to find two profiles but they didn't post much and don't really use the site anymore... There are a few other members from the EC whom have used the Bridgetown Embassy and they've been a big help.

The only problem I've had so far with the embassy is that their packet 3 instructions were a bit misleading... You can read the details in the following thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90499 ...

It's all been ironed out though. We're just waiting for the interview appointment.

By the way-- fill in your timeline so that we can have an idea of how far you are in the process. It can also give you a rough estimate of you adjudication date, based on the results of other VJ members.

Good luck on your journey and congrats. You will get a lot of information and support on this site. If you have any questions you can post them here or you can always send me a pm...
