What shots do they give you?

Here's a link for the age-appropriate immunizations that'll need to be done by AOS filing:

K visas DO NOT REQUIRE VACCINATIONS. When you adjust status will be when your vaccinations will be required.

When you get to the US you can go to the health department and the shots are $10 or less each. You can have your spouse locate a CS from the www.uscis.gov website as well as the vaccination suppliment sheet the CS will need to transfer the shot records to. While you are waiting for the interview your spouse can research the CS in your US area and discuss what will need to be done before you file your I-485 AOS.

Ok Let's stop here... the required vaccinations are not $10 or less, where did this come from.... When we were waiting for the interview date, we were required to get the following; MMR, TB, TD and Varicella, and if she is Asian then the TB test will be positive and you will have to get a chest xray and have it read. The Civil Surgeon can administer the vaccinations also. Usually at the same costs as the Health department, which is about $300 NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO. Beleive me I spent two days calling all the CS's around and the Health Department. They got you and they know it. So do your homework.

I'm not sure where you got the assumption that all Asians will garner positive TB results... and I don't know how you had to have a TB immunization as that's not required either.

We just went to the health department and the shots were $10.00 each, It may be that California is extremely expensive maybe?
