Hi everyone!

Sent the I-130 and I-129F (for K3) together along with a money order to Texas service center in last week of Oct. They received it on the 29th of Oct, as shown by the return receipt. From what I have read and understood there's a significant delay in the processing of the apps. Well, I guess we can't do much, so I'm going to be keeping my fingers crossed and will just wait for the NOA1 to arrive in the mail.

Good luck to us all!

I don't think I can handle another prolonged immigration process and USCIS is only up to Sept 3, 2007 I-130s for the NOA1s. If it takes 90-120 days for the NOA1 when it used to (lets say for math purposes) take 14 days, and the NOA2 took around 90 days, that means at this pace, I will get a NOA2 around August 1, 2008. Then to NVC. Lets say things go smoothly and its 90 days at NVC, puts us at completing NVC around Nov 1, 2008. 4-6 more for Montreal interview and we are at mid 2009????

Someone help me. I think I will go hang myself now.

my goodness, don't do that - although i know we'll all be tempted to violence before our visas are done! - have you considered filing the I-129f? I know the IR-1/CR-1 is a better visa and cheaper, all told, but it's looking like the K-3's are getting approved a bit faster.

Hi October people - anyone got their NOA1 yet? Chicago is up to the 9th Oct it seems!

Quick question here peeps and Hi Del - hang on hun but I am thinking the same thing on timelines but since we seem to be a unique batch of people from August forward (4 months for NOA1) (3-4 weeks for receipt number to be accessed online as they say although cant do that yet either) I think this process is going to be sooooooooooooooooooo longggggggggggggggggggggggggggg.

But the question sorry, they are saying that October is now being worked on, there are alot of people still in August and September with nothing happening so I gues FIFO is out the door right?

Hi Susie - are there loads of people from August without a NOA1? I thought quite a few of those had rolled in now. Also although USCIS says they are working on Oct - noone on here yet has claimed to have an NOA1 yet.

Hi hun,

Dont know about the word loads, but yes there are quite a few and even some from the first of week of August, September not looking good either, they seem to dribble in like a faucet, a few for the first week in September and the latest I have seen is one or two from around the 15th or so of September.

I do not want to bring you down here, just wanted to let all know that even tho Chicago says October - ok but to get that elusive NOA1 is somewhat of a sticky situation right now, tis a hit and miss situation as far as we see, so who knows what they are really doing.

Cheers hun and thanks for the response and again, just hang on.

Susie

Hi - I notice you sent in to Vermont originally - I wonder if those who posted to Vermont originally are still about a month behind the California lot - when they were transferred over the Vermont applications were from the end of July the California ones were the end of August - so it could be that the Sept people who are getting them now were non-Vermont people? Perhaps they are just slightly ahead in the receipting process at the moment.
