Hi All,

I have my NOA1 Date from 23rd Dec, and havent received my NOA2 or any updates yet.

How many people from Nov-Dec slot still waiting like me?

Another question, is it possible that the Package can go thru NVC without me us receiving NOA2.

Also is there any particular number on NOA2 or it also has the reciept number on it?

--Thanks in Advance

According to the website texas is processing January 13th. I'd be a little concerned too. Have you signed up on the USICS website to check the status of ur petition? https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do

just enter in ur noa1 receipt number. Maybe it was approved and its in the mail. Website could be quicker to know than the mail. I hope I helped in any way. :) good luck

Try a timeline search here on VJ, maybe that will help you see how the service center is doing

Hi,

try to send an email to CSC asking about your case status and you will see what they reply, it might help you, but unfortunately they usually send out an automatic email, so then we have no choice and have to wait utnil the case is outside of the timeframe(i think its 120 days for CSC), then you can contact your congressman and he might be able to help you too.

We have been waiting for our NOA2 for almost 6 months.

Good luck.

We contacted the congressman and now we are waiting for the response, hopefully we will find out by the end of this week, there was a touch on our case yesterday so I think it means that they responded to the congressman. We also had an appointment at Santa Ana office trying to see if they can help us and there was a nice lady who sent an email to CSC regarding to our case status as well and she said that she will let us know when she finds out. She also said that it is good to contact the Service Center by allt he posilbe ways you can - throught the congressman, calling the uscis, and maybe try to see if they can do anything at the Santa Ana office as well. It is really hard to say why our case is taking so long, some people say security checks, but I dont believe that much, i just think that it got stuck somewhere and the CSC doesnt do anything about it. Because the securtiy checks are done on every petition and should be completed the latest 30 days after the petition is overdue as I understood from this

http://members.aol.com/MDUdall/cscjit.htm

Then there are also done more detailed security checks for certain 16 countries but Czech Rebuplic is not named there (I can see people from pakistan, iran, croatia and other coutries named on this list get approved on time, so dont understand, even if they were running sec. checks why it is taking longer then those people), also none of us, me or my fiance have ever been arrested, when I was in the USA I left on time before my visa expired, so I didnt overstay, we are both never married and so on........so we have been thinking that our case is really simple and there shouldnt be any problem, never expected that it will take so long.

Anyway, I let you know as soon as the congressman or the lady from the Santa Ana office contact us and tell us what they found out from the CSC - the reason why it is taking so long.

You can call them but you are still not more than 30 days outside of their processing times so the service center may not be of much help to you.
