Did she make the cheque out to the right place??..Department of homeland security, and NOT USCIS

did she sign the cheque??.......she needs to read over them carefully to see if she can spot what the problem is!!

Your wife needs to read and follow the instructions carefully from USCIS web site and the guides on this web site. If she has any questions, she should post it on this forum. I don't think you guys need a lawyer unless she has problem following directions.

Good Luck to you guys!!!

Your wife has received the petition back again already or is she waiting on it? If she has it already.....are you saying that they gave no reason this time for its return to her? Strange

Maybe call the USCIS toll free number. It is a good idea to make copies of everything that you send to USCIS/NVC/Embassy. Please sit down with the application along with the instructions. I am sure, you will find out what is missing.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
