Getting medical in London on Tuesday and visa interview following Tuesday..

Anyone heard of anyone being refused a K-1 visa?

Is the interview like being 'Interrogated' or are they friendly?

Anything can happen. K-1 denial does happen it is more common in places where high visa fraud happens, but is not as common in the UK.

The interviews are fairly painless, a few questions is all.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I havent heard of anyone being refused a K-1 visa at London. When i went for my interview at London, the CO was pretty friendly, although not all CO's are the same, though i wouldn't go as far to say they "interrogate" you!

Good Luck with your interview.

Separated!!

I've heard that having all the paperwork in immaculate order and being in an actual relationship with the person can pretty much guarantee approval. I went out and bought an accordian file folder for all the paperwork and labeled each tab in the order the consulate wants the paperwork so that as they ask for each item, I can just go to the next tab.

Another good thing to do would be to check out the embassy reviews for your country and see what people say who have been through the interview process at the embassy you will be doing your interview at. That's what's prepared me the most for my interview.
