Many of you should know I work at a casino and last night was a concert I was happy to attend as in 4 years (5 in May 2008) working there it was the first concert I was really hoping to go see from the time I heard about it!!!!

Queensryche, Alice Cooper and Heaven and Hell.

Queensryche has been one of my favorite bands since I first saw them in 1991...back in my concert (read:wild) days

Earlier this week the C.E.O. announced that the casino would give employees tickets to any or all of 4 "events" in the near future so of course I jumped on it...

Anyway we stayed for Queensryche, whom only did 1 song I had not heard before...and one I had not heard THEM (They did Welcome to the Machine originally by Pink Floyd!!!!) perform. I was kind of sad it was only an hour but they were the opening act

After Queensryche we went inside and ate and as we left I heard Alice Cooper singing his song, Only Women Bleed (one of my favs by him! )

So Olga has now been to her first American Rock Concert, now she wants to see Gwen Stephani on Oct. 29,I do too but I have to work that night and it is nearly impossible to get a Monday off. >(

Queensryche is my favorite band!!! we saw Geoff Tate here few months ago too at Roseland in Portland Oregon... It was awesome!! the place was very small and everything seemed very close to the stage!!!...

Sounds like you had fun! The last concert I saw was at the Woodlands (just outside of Houston), which had KISS and Poison performing. Okay, so I'm stuck in the 80s. Sue me.

Last concert we went to was REO Speedwagon/Styx/Def Leppard concert in Greensboro, NC.

there is a stroy about douche and the bags...they were a real short lived group....

when i worked at an adolescent residential center....teens stayed 1-3 years there..they had several former band members...and wanted to start a band....

i allowed them to do that and play around..but it had to be performance for charity....(not sister booty)

and 2, they had to call themselves..douche and the bags.,..

Leonard Skynard is playing here at the Holmes Convocation Center sometime this summer. I'm not sure of the date because I'm not going but my dad can't wait to see them.

eta: "rock" concert. we go to outdoor concerts a few times a year but they're not big name bands.

I wouldn't mind seeing Queensryche. "Just Another Rainy Night" is my favorite there.

I may tour with the "Warped Tour" this summer. Anyone jealous? I just looked over the list or bands and I like a few. Most I've never heard of. The drivers keep busy on that one and that's what I likes.
