:sigh: I think some people are taking what I said a little too seriously.

I'm sure there are many aspects of what they are looking for when approving K-1 visas, and I'm sure that some form of that aspect is showing love and affection in some manner, be it emails, pictures, letters, etc. towards the person you intent to marry.

lol have a nice day.

be prepared i assume Lebanon is no piece of cake consul..

You might want to check out the regional forums for contry specific info :)

There are alot of posts here (and the regional as well) about proof of relationship.

The evidence they are requesting for the I-129f is proof that you have met in the past 2 years + the mutual intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US.

To start, you just have to prove that you have met, and intend to marry, that's it...

My general advice is make sure you fill out the part about how you met on the form, send a few pictures of when you met in person, and submit photocopies of any passport stamps, plane ticket stubs and iteneraries, hotel bills, ect. to prove that the photos are real and were taken in the past 2 years.

After submitting the paperwork save any and all written comunications, phone bills, and evidence of any future travel to see eachother. You will need it as proof of continuing relationship for the interview, but that is a long way away... just need to prepare for it ;)

I took what you wrote, "literally" because that's what your intended audience is most likely to do. Please bear that in mind when posting. If your meaning isn't literal, make sure that's clear. Otherwise, its best to choose wording that is intended to be taken literally. I took exception because "love" is not a requirement for a fiance or spouse visa to be approved or a relationship to be bona fide.

I'm sorry....I really didn't mean anything by it..all I meant was that you should make sure you can provide evidence that it's a real relationship "bona fide" as you said and to me, I just worded it the way I know a relationship to be. One of love. Sigh. Whatever.

I feel like I am being slightly attacked here and I'm not feeling very welcome. I guess I'll just keep my mouth shut and just ask questions and not answer them. Obviously you know much more about this process than I do.

Again, my apologies.

You are not being attacked or even personally criticized, but you are being defensive. I'm disagreeing with what you wrote because when taken literally my experience tells me it is wrong. It doesn't make you a bad person, just a person who made a mistake. We all make mistakes. The sky isn't falling.
