We got our WAC # from the back of Jim's cheque, took a few days before he received the official NOA1...give it a few more days Savz. Did you create an account on USCIS? You'll receive emails then whenever your case is updated...congrats by the way...I know we're all pulling our hair out waiting and this was supposed to be the "short" wait! This is gonna push everything back so now I'm thinking 4 months at least before the NOA2! Keeping fingers crossed that NVC is quicker! Best of luck!

yeah ,i hope we get it this week

goodluck too

We sent ours to Nebraska on August 11th, it was received on August 13th, then it was forwarded to California and we received NOA1 on October 1st (even though we'd been to the bank that day and they said our cheque hadn't been cashed yet). It took 50 days but we got it, so hang in there. They are coming through, slowly but surely.

Good luck.

Congratulations on getting your WAC number. I hope that CSC will get the backlog caught enough for your NOA2 to only take 4 months. I would suggest planning on 6 months and hoping for 4 so you will not be disappointed.

Heres to a pleasant journey for all of you August filers.

Woohoo! NOA1 has landed

It arrived today! Receipt date 27th August, NOA1 notice date 4th October...now it feels like we're really on our way. Take heart anyone who is still waiting, I hope yours arrives soon and makes you as happy as ours has!

Just one question though, we sent our I-130 to Texas but recieved our NOA1 from California SC. Does this mean that we send our I-129 to California too or back to Texas?

Good luck Gang!

G.

Guinness,

As per directions in the guides "For a K-3 Visa you should send the I-129F to the Service Center where the the underlying I-130 petition is currently pending." So yes, you should send your I-129f to California. Hope that helps :)

It just helps me keep stuff straight in my head if I get a post affirming whatever it is that I was thinking, so yes your reply really does help alot.

The same goes for all the replies that I've had to honest, I really don't know where Lisa and I would be without this place.

YAY Dora! Feels good! We all know we're in for a long wait now so that's no surprise, we can all deal with that....if the NOA2's take 6 months, so be it but if we get them earlier than that, that will be a bonus! It's all good....after the NOA2, that's when everything really starts happening/moving so be prepared...everyone, get your US spouse to get their IRS transcripts NOW (Jim got 2 copies quite some time ago & he's already collecting his pay stubs) that way you can get them sent in the moment they're asked for....

all the best!
