i hope we all get ours soon seeing as we're so close in timelines.

i'm so happy for all the recent approvals even though i won't deny i'm a tad jealous.

oh please...........how many of you can honestly say you're not quietly cursing when you see VSC filers whizzing through. lol

we've resisted the urge to call..... and will now just sit back and wait.

the thing is i'll be in Dallas next week for two weeks training. i'll of course see my SO as he's going to fly out to see me so i know it will be worth it, i'm just hoping we're together at the time it does, or when it does come through.

what do you reckon? where all the clairvoyants at?

Congrats to all the recent October approvees!! I know the rest of us will be soon! I declare this week official October filers approval week.

And Tars, Estadia and L&P, I'm sure those touches mean they are working on your files and will approve them any day now. Heck, they might even be already approved, lots of people have found that the online system never gets updated. Just keep you eye on your mailbox at home this week...

:thumbs::wacko::wacko:

They have touched us 3 times this week and I hope to get NOA2 before March 15....:innocent:

Wow, I hope the good news comes soon, al and lola!! Hopefully next week you'll get it!! :D

I think we may get ours by March 24th. The number 24 appeared in my dreams late last year and I couldn't figure out why I kept dreaming of it. Then last week, I dreamt of number 3. It would be freaky if we do get it on 3/24.

Wait! Who's the clarboyant? Who do we have to talk to so that we can get an idea when our case will be approved?

Who wants to take a bet on ours?

Besos,

-N

Hang in there, nineta!! You may want to ask the Mighty Meridien for his predictions! :D

This might be a stupid question but I think we all know how these little things pop up in our heads throughout this whole process! hehe

Anyway, I got my hard copy NOA2 in the mail today. And it says that the packet is being, "forwarded to the listed consulate." There isn't a consulate listed on the actual NOA2 so I'm wondering if they mean the consulate we requested on our paperwork. I'm just wondering if there is any where that I can check that they are forwarding it to London as my fiance has dual citizenship in the UK and New Zealand. Thanks!

I have a question that's going to seem pretty stupid, but I have to ask it. Background info first, and then the question.

When you go to the "Guides" here, on VisaJourney, and look at the example G325A forms (one for the petitioner and one for the petitioner's fiance'), they are exactly the same. Down at the bottom, there is a bold rectangular space where the APPLICANT is supposed to write their full name and A number, if there is an A number.

Because it is unclear on the "Guides", the question is: When the G325A is filled out for the alien fiance', whose name goes inside that rectangular box at the bottom?

I think that I am the applicant and my alien fiance' is the beneficiary, so my name should go inside that box, even on my fiance's G325A. Am I correct?

You are filling out 2 sets of G-325A. On the set for yourself, you are entering your own information. Thus you are the "applicant." On the set for your fiancee, she is the "applicant," so her information goes in those boxes on her forms. If you or your fiancee don't have an A-number, enter "None."

I forgot that it actually says "applicant". That does make it pretty unclear. Basically it is a poorly drafted form used for multiple purposes. But yes, as Mox said, you put your name as "applicant" on the set with your information and your fiancee's name in the "applicant" box on the other set.

We are supposed to get 8 inches of snow with heavy winds tomorrow, so I will be home all day with nothing to do but obsessively call the NVC to see if they got my petition.

I called CSC today using TBone's tips...spoke with a very nice officer that gave me Barry's A number...checked where my file was...then told me...it's still on a shelf and has not been assigned...~sigh~....but...she said they are currently working on October apps and mine may be another month....
