AOS delays for K1 versus K3

I noticed that most of the posts where people have been waiting a long time for AOS to finalize, i.e. get their greencard, are those who initially came on K1 as opposed to K3. I would like to know about experiences with AOS for those who came on K3. Specifically, how long did it take, any major hassels, etc.

my husband came on k-3. has been stuck in namecheck for almost 3 years now.

My husband is here on a K-3 and we've been waiting for almost 2 years now..(technically though we filed in February 2005) but were advised to refile in 2006 since there was no news on our case). Ongoing saga..

Claudeth came on a K-1 and had her GC 5 months after filing AOS

I came in on a K-1, filed AOS in November(not counting the RFE for forgetting the original NOA2 for k-1), got green card in June.

It is interesting...from these replies and others I have communicated with, the delays are common for men, and not so common for women.
