We sleep together great also. I was miserable and could not sleep at all when he was in Mexico. We snuggle all night long. I don't know what I would do if I had to go back to sleeping by myself. The only problem we have is he talks in his sleep. Wakes me up sometimes but I just go right back to sleep.

Mine talks in his sleep in DANISH

Im the sleep talker in our relationship....ive given my hubby directions in my sleep (to where i have no idea)! Plus my hubby is a very light sleeper and i toss and turn a lot! So im usually the one waking him up everytime i change positions. He tells me that i snore and fart in my sleep too.......so yeah, if you asked him, im not the best sleeping partner..... :P

I sleep talk too, but I do it in a language my whole household can understand :P

I LOVE snuggling with Sam all night. We sleep intertwined like pretzels and it is so comfy.

When I can't sleep I like to read in bed and he bought me a little light I hook over my ear ("get the hook and read honey if you can't sleep").

I haven't seen him now since early January and I could cry with longing thinking about this!

I've got some laundry to do. Too bad I'm at work.

At first it was a huge problem and I would go sleep on the couch. Now we basically sleep on top of each other all entwined. I never though an insomniac like me could fall asleep with someone's head on top of my own and snoring! But I can and i love the closeness.

sounds kinda like it is for us .... i used to sleep all spread out (and diagonally, if i had a big enough bed). now we could fit in a twin size with as much as we cuddle :luv:

Kinda off topic but i have a really funny sleep-talking story involving my mom. My mom was asleep on the couch and my dad calls from work wanting my uncles phone number. I didnt know it off the top of my head so i try waking my mom up to get the number from her. she spits out a series of numbers and i tell my dad and hang up the phone. not more than one minute later my dad calls back, the number was wrong. so i again attempt to wake up my mom and get the number from her. she's giving me our home number, my grandmas number, numbers that have nothing to do with our calling area. she'll start "348-" "no mom, thats not right...." "934" no mom......im sitting on the floor in tears laughing so hard. my dad is on the other end asking me 'whats going on???' i couldnt even answer him. finally i called my aunt and she gave me the number.

later on, my mom asked me why i was laughing so hard...if only i had a video camera for that one!:lol:

I aint cool enough for a signature.....

I once had it at my psychology class that if there are no fights in a ralationship, it means there's something wrong!

Hah!! Popular misconception. There's two kinds of "not fighting" : the one where neither cares enough to fight and the one where both are so in tune with each other's thoughts that fighting just never happens.

My first marriage was 25 years of daily scream-fests.

This time we're approaching our second anniversary of happy marriage and we have NEVER had a fight. Not one! There were a couple of disagreements and episodes of hurt feelings over the 3 yrs leading up to our wedding, mostly due to the separation. We are perfectly matched and don't fight because we don't disagree on anything. We spend every moment together except when he's working and we enjoy each other's company thoroughly.

We disagree about this subject....he wants to be all snuggle-bunny and I really don't want to even be touched when I'm trying to sleep, much less all entwined and close. He gets his head on MY pillow, has me pushed up to the edge of the bed to the point that my leg is almost hanging off...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  But if I give him a few minutes, he'll turn away from me on his side and fall asleep...leaving me alone. hehehe. Best way for me to get to sleep is for me to go to bed first and fall asleep before he gets there. I sleep kinda light so I hear some snoring and when he's had "too much", he REALLY snores and even moves about a whole lot, something he doesn't usually do. As for the covers, I don't hog them, neither does he, but sometimes he pulls the covers way up so that they go over my head.... :bonk: ....because for some reason I sleep scootched down the bed.

We have a queen size and that is fine for us. Craig often tries to wrap the whole comforter around him and is often reluctant to give me any if he's really deeply asleep when I get into bed. I have a real effort pulling it out from under him and he scowls at me in his sleep! LOL

Apart from that it works pretty well, neither of us is really snuggly whilst sleeping. We are during the day or before we go to sleep, but we wouldnt sleep all entwined, just too hot and uncomfortable for me. He's an incredibly active dreamer and is all over the place sometimes with his arms and legs. If he's doing that, I have to get up and watch tv or something, it isnt something I can sleep through. After a couple of hours he settles down and then is still for the rest of the night. I'm told I'm a fairly still sleeper until the hour before I wake up where I toss and turn every couple of minutes. I dont talk in my sleep, but I Laugh. Apparantly it is very disturbing, like a real maniac, and I have no idea what I laugh about!

Lots of good stories.. Honestly, some nights we sleep fine togther all snuggly, other nights like the Sunday night I wondered #######... Although Sat. night was my night to be restless since once in awhile Iget that Restless Leg syndrome.

I have been messing around today on the internet looking for new beds, mattresses at Ikea. I might go up Saturday and see what they have up there cause maybe that will solve the problem.

Thanks for the input....
