If you really love your wife, you will be beside her regardless of of any medical condition.

Ya'all dont seems to understand what i am talking about , i wanna help her but the mental problem is giving me a second thought she might just wake up in the middle of the night and do something very funny like harm herself or someone around her. I really do love my wife and that is why we have came this far.

Someone please understand me here mental problem is a serious thing.. I AM AWARE OF THE DEPRESSION THING But the mental problem God! Just this morning i found out that she usually have stomach virus and that is contagious whenever she gets stomach virus she goes to the toilet and start to have headache, now as i type this messages i have been infected with the so called stomach virus.....I dont know what i am going to find out next.

Maybe is it possible that you are confounding a stomach virus with symptoms of another condition that you might be afraid of, which could have long term effects or suggest long term illness? A stomach virus runs its course in a matter of days. Your wife may have a system that is more prone to such upsets, but it does not necessarily signal that she will be chronicly ill. Take this time to become more familiar with the common nature of stomach ailments, on the Internet. There's really nothing to fear, and the more educated you are of them should asuage any fears you already have.

Why is everone talking about the stomach virus I AM NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THE STOMACH VIRUS ....Talk about the mental disorder .

Well why do you keep going on about the stomach virus, then? Why even bother mentioning something so mundane in the first place?

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

IF you are looking for someone to come in here, pat you on your head and say tell you go ahead and leave your wife after a week (isn't it convenient you have a "friend" in Florida!), me thinks you're out of luck.

The chance that she might harm someone else in her illness doesn't excuse you to leave her behind without even trying to help. You made a commitment to her. If her mental health situation is really bad enough that she might harm herself or someone else, that's all the more reason to help her.

I think this is a classic case of making a mountain out of a molehill. MANY people suffer from depression and take medication to treat it. A lot of those same individuals continue to have happy married lives.

Difference being their spouses love and support them no matter what 'mental disorder' they may have.

Another thing to bear in mind is that some medications can give you a dodgy belly, hence her having an upset stomach alot of the time.

Mystical ~ People here on VJ are happy to give advice, but you really need to calm down a bit and be a bit more respectful, even if the advice they give isn't what you want to hear. ;)

Sorry I don't have any advice for someone looking how to best complete their green card scam. Sickening.

I highly doubt that the wife has any problems whatsoever.

 I wasn't going to say it...

and to follow what mags said, my zoloft sometimes makes me very nauseous. So that could be adding to her feeling sick.

Does your insurance cover some help for that? There are different therapies available for it. And (this is an educated guess) I would think it's easier to help in the beginning stages. :)

My ex-wife of 23 years had bi-polar mental illness and I divorsed her after years and years of living with her abuse. I know the feeling of living with someone with this type of illness. There were times when she too would act as if she could harm someone especially when she was manic. If she ever got so sick that she became phycotic, she would hear voices (some from God) and stay in the malls just shopping and would write so many bad checks for me to pay. She was hospitalized each year for several weeks at a time over the past 5 years. Each episode or relapse were worse each time. She lost her personality and was not the same person I originally married. She was very mean to her kids too. I'm not exagerating any of this, even her own mother disowned her after unsuccessfully trying to help her daughter.

My ex would also have a stomach virus occationally but we found out it was from her drinking coffee. Coffee and or alcohol would not mix with her medication I remember.

There's much more to this life long story but I really would just like to remain on the topic concerning your marrige for now.

If you love your wife get her some professional help ASAP. Sounds like she is suffering from Bi Polar Mental Illness and needs medication. Remember this illness in not contagious and can be treated. Many people who take their med's live happy lives.

It does but she is embarrassed about it to the point that she doesn't like talking to the Doc. He did give her some meds that kind of helped so maybe she will continue to pursue it.

None of us are qualified to "diagnose" his wife. Because I could just as easily say that crying and feeling sick to your stomach don't look like signs of bipolar and I'm qualified because I've been abused for 15 years by a bipolar brother - because it doesn't say anything about mania or shopping sprees or generally weird behavior!!! But we don't have the whole story, so neither you nor I can sit here and say "bipolar! check her out!" or "not bipolar! check her out!"

I agree she needs professional help, but what her diagnosis is - is for a professional to decide, not people on the internet who don't know her needs/desires/behaviors/habits.

And after a week, if the OP is so "scared" he should be getting her help, not trying to scam with his friend in Florida.

She shouldn't be embarrassed to talk to the Doctor. OCD gets worse as time goes on- she should be looking into getting treatment now before it takes control of her life.
