Ok dont know if this makes a difference or not......When I first started this process for my Husband and filed all the papers we also filed for a K3 visa...During the process for the K3 visa we were also put on Adim. Proc. for about 2 weeks......after that they sent the papers on to the Lagos embassy........We did not get to do the K3 due to the fact that I had already sent all the paper work to the NVC office before we got the K3 interview......So we had to wait for the other paper work to go through and do the CR1 interview......Now my question is this......Would they be conducting the same type of invvestagation there that was already done here?? And if so could they forward that information to the Lagos embassy to finish this case???

New Information,

Called Washington DC again and Explained the situation about having the Investagation that they did for the k3 applyed to the CR1 so we could finish the case......they said it could be done however when they looked it up they never finished the Investagation for the K3 they just sent it through.......So now We wait for them to send the information through the computer to the NVC office here in Washington DC and then they use an outside agency to do a security check on my husband..........Has anyone ever gone through that???? and If so how long does it take???? Thank you .....

Hi - I don't no any specifics regarding Administrative Review. But I just want to drop a quick line and encourage you to be strong and not give up. I'm not in your shoes, but I know how draining this process can be. Everything will be OK. Alright? Chin up !!!!!!!!!

Hi Moon1968, I just wanted to wish you strength cos i'm sure you are going through so many emotions right now. This time right now is temporary and will come to pass and you both will be together. My hubby and i remember how hard it was to go through the process of being temporarily denied but we don't feel the pain anymore. I did want to say that it is a good thing that the DOS were specific to you as to what was being investigated. Wishing you all the best. S&S

Moon 1968,

I am so to hear that after hours of waiting your hubby was put on Administrative Review...It seems like it was just a big confusion on the paperwork trail on their end...I filed the K-3 through my hubby for Ghana hoping it would be faster but the cr-1 ended up being the fastest route since we filed that through Greece. I hope that you guys will not be stuck in this stage for too long....You both are in my prayers!
