We received the e-mail (and the USCIS website say the same) of our APPROVAL on October, 10.

VSC received our petition on June 19th and we have an NOA1 date of June 22nd... No touches since June 26th...

I am hopeful for the end of October

Im really not sure what to think about the VJ prediction. I think we're looking at around the 130 days mark for the NOA2, which puts us at the end of this month/start of november. So much for wanting to have it by my birthday (tomorow!) oh well...all we can do is wait our turn, im sure it wont be long now!

So you guys are keeping your hopes pretty high up Well me too..wishing for the end of October latest. But I counted it...there are about 105 people before us still waiting for NOA2 (our NOA1 received date is 06-15)...and if they keep doing about 20 approvals a week like they are doing now my math sense is telling me something about 5 weeks

Well it's looking like 140 days+ is the norm right now...

I'm just hoping I get it before the end of the year now but I am not getting my hopes up too high...

Well what´s also concerning me is the waiting time from CSC to NVC to the Embassy...People are having major delays with that too and before it reaches NVC it´s another month! That´s hopeless...then another 2 weeks to get to the Embassy...then who knows how long it´s gonna take at the Embassy...I guess another 4 weeks...5 plus 4 plus 2 plus 4 = almost 4 months from now = middle of Feb = past our wedding date ...

And past mine and I filed in July We're working the loopholes though and will have a non legally binding ceremony in February if that is the case then I will come back and wait out the rest of the visa - will be kinda nice to ride out the process without the wedding hanging over me!!!

God bless the CSC staff! pl. speed up our K1 processing. we are US citizens and we are getting exhuasted

Yeah - It sounds a bit sad but I kinda envy the people who have (sensibly) not booked a wedding - unfortunately we knew no better and booked in April... I don't regret it because it is going to be beautiful but it will/would be kinda nice to just wait out the visa process knowing that we don't have to worry about getting the visa by any specific date...

I think because we wanted a quite traditional wedding (I wanted to do it all properly short of the church as we aren't really religious) It has been nice to plan things how we want them in plenty of time The wedding planner has certainly helped!!!

We haven't planned our wedding. It's really hard cause I think about it and wonder how I could plan a wedding in three months. So, it kind of sucks. I was thinking maybe we would start planning the wedding once the file is in Ghana. Then estimate a date maybe 5 or 6 months out and try to plan something. I'd like to have something to join in front of family and friends. But I suppose if I have to just have a party, then we'll do that. Just that the wedding is the fun part of the marraige. After that, it's work to keep things together, healthy and all that jazz.
