Eek ouch! I'm glad you went to the doctor and got it checked out! I got a nail under my toenail not too long ago and it was not fun. Didn't go in too deep but I still went for a tetanus booster and the doctor gave me the scare talk of if it isn't better in a couple days you could get infected and die! :P He likes to be sure I'm aware of all the possibilities but honestly I'd rather he keep some stuff to himself! :)

awww glad everything is alright Margy....esp. if the line is so vivid you actually thought you were bleeding..yikes!!! Good job for those meds!

I had a couple bluetick beagles growing up and I loved them..soooo cute!! 3 actually all in turn...Taffy, Patches and Ticker! ;) My Dad would visit up here where we now live, and come home to us(300 miles south) bringing a new pup with him, usually get home late and night, and put it in bed with me wiggling all around..they were just little..awwww happy memories!!! :) :) :) M.

I'm so glad you're all right!

I'm also sooo sorry for you that you stepped on a nail. I did that as a kid and it hurt like a #######! I was limping for weeks! It wasn't infected, just very sore and painful.

I hope you get better soon!

Yes blueticks are so cute aren't they (F) on a sad note though, my other dog Sir Lance was attcked again!! by the neighbours dog. Lance is a adorable, a tiny little thing and me and Hannah were hysterical. John kicked the dog off ours and went over to the neighbours. They have locked it in a pen today , John said it will have to go, it is too vicious The neighbour agreed, it is'nt even her dog, it is her ex boyfriends and she does not even like it. Lance has a cut above his eye and a few little ones around his neck. That other dog had him by his neck and was just throwing him from side to side :(

Thanks (F) and thankfully it is feeling much better now, I am not hopping around as much :)

It Still amazes me how people ask serious medical questions off people on the net tho.

What ever happened to the good ole call your doc's office? You might get some very bad advise off the people here and end up really in trouble.

Just some good advise really.......
