We got our NOA for the AOS interview. They are asking for the I-693, I-864, Taxes, letter from employer, etc. Is this normal? Does all this need to be done even if the medical was already completed? The 864, taxes, etc are for the petitioner?

Thanks.

Can I simply take copies of the forms I used for the K3 visa? I suppose I new medical needs to be done regardless of when the K3 medical was done?

Thanks Again.

When I sent in the I-485, I sent all of this stuff with that application packet. Are they just asking me to bring the copies that I sent in, or redo everything for the interview? Sorry, I am just confused about it.

Thanks.

If you already did your medical, you don't get another one done and bring it unless you took abnormally long to get through the system (and the medical might not be valid, but that's for USCIS to figure out). You probably should bring an updated I-864 (affidavit) for 2005 with paystubs from the last two or three months and a copy of your income tax return for the year. :)

Good luck!

The medical was done less than a year ago, but it was for the K3 (sealed envelope, the whole process). Then when we filed for the AOS (I-485) they told us we didn't need the medical. But now with the AOS Interview, they asked for it again to bring to the interview. Should I call, or does someone know?

Thanks.

If I were you, I would take a copy of the medical with me to the interview. That way it does not delay the entire process. When dealing with USCIS it is better to cover all bases.

All the best.

I am not sure what you got but our letter said - to bring the medical etc. - If not already submitted - Does yours not say that? We didn't take anything because it was all submitted at the K1 stage. Good Luck

I would only get a new one if the medical is seriously out of date.
