Hey what's up. My fiance and I have sent in our package with all requirements. We even went as far as planning a wedding and sent in proof with an invitation, and receipt of the chapel where it will be held. Wondering if that will speed up our process?????????????

If anybody knows or is close to closing their case please let me know.

:help:

Had to start all over again.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me Phil. 4:13

Sorry but nothing really speeds up the process. You basically get put in line with the rest, and when they get to yours they will get to it.

"VJ Timelines are only an estimate, they are not actual approval dates! They only reflect VJ members. VJ Timelines do not include the thousands of applicants who do not use VJ"

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE SITE, PLEASE READ THE GUIDES BEFORE ASKING ALOT OF QUESTIONS. THE GUIDES ARE VERY HELPFUL AND WILL SAVE YOU ALOT OF TIME!

There is only one thing that speeds up the process, and that is if the USC is in the military, and is about to be deployed. That's it! Everybody else just has to wait in line, and they get to it when they get to it.

Unfortunately, the speed of your petition approval depends on things such as the working speed of the agent who happens to be working on your case, and where in the pile your application happens to be when the agent picks up a pile of applications to work on.

Sorry, but some people have even been pregnant, and it hasn't done anything to speed up the process. Some think that having a lawyer will help, but even that doesn't do anything. You're in a line that moves at it's own speed (which is usually SLOW)!!!

Good luck.

Like others have already said, nothing can speed up the process, but there are many things that can slow it down or bring it to a screeching hault! It's always best to have all your t's crossed, i's dotted, and all the required proof for every step of the process.

Good luck!

No, it won't help, sorry. Keep in mind that this process can have its ups and downs as far as delays, so if you have planned a wedding and invested money in it be careful because if there is a big delay in your application this can put a big kink in the plans! Just a word of warning from someone whos mother almost lost her mind worrying we would lose money on what we've invested in for the wedding if the visa didn't come in time :)

Thanks again, and know we just booked a small chapel and the lady knows about our visa app. and she told us not to cancel just keep rebooking cause if we cancel then we'll lose the money. We notified TSC that it was just for proof of intent, not going to actually happen on that day

:D
