I decided to post in European thread since Here people May respond my post better:)

I have flight from Moscow to Paris and then SAn Francisco.

The thing is the lay over in Paris is only one hour and I stress about it,because I need to change my terminal from 2C to 2E in that timing.

Anyone ever done it?Any suggestions to make it easier and be in time on the board?

And another question:

I read that I can have 2 bags each 23 kilos with me,do I have to Paty for that another suitcase with 23 kilos?Or both ones are included in flight?

Two years ago I flew Moscow to Paris (Air France) and then had to switch terminals to get a Delta flight to Atlanta. I barely made the connection as I had to get on a bus to the second terminal, AND when I left Moscow they did not give me the boarding pass for the Delta flight so I had to find the right desk and wait in line to pick up the boarding pass and then go through security to get to the gate. I don't remember how much time I had but I think it was more than an hour. I was panicked the whole time.

I think you will be OK with the two checked bags as long as they are 22.5 kilos or less. I know this is the case for Delta. They also allow one carry on bag up to 18 kilos. Check the airlines web site.

Are you connecting through Orly or DeGaulle? In the 1990s, last time I was there, Orly was tougher to navigate when connections were tight.

Actually, it was about the same in the '90s ... I forgot about my last connection through Orly in 2004 ... everything was easy, except for normal French inefficiency, and security was .. ahem .. a joke. On that trip, I entered Europe at Amsterdam, connected to Luxembourg, stayed in Luxembourg, then flew to Hannover through Orly in Paris. The only time I saw a human being at a customs/immigration stations was when I was *leaving* Germany to fly to Novosibirsk. I joked with the German border guard that there was a bit of a difference between Europe and the USA regarding security ... he sighed and said, "Well, its not supposed to be that way." Anyway, although I made all my connections and security was a joke, the Orly connection was tight. It was a 3.5 hour connection. Weather was fine and the plane had no mechanical problems and left Luxembourg on time. For some reason, we were in the air an hour longer than necessary. Couldn't get permission to land, apparently. Then, lines were long and I came close to missing the next puddle jumper to Hannover.

Security probably won't be a problem, but a congested airport in France can easily be a problem.

Good luck. I hope your connections are quick and easy.

Hola,

This year I went from Atlanta to Prague and I had 1.5 hours to made the change at CDG (Charles de Gaulle), the Airport was in Construction and it was a mess.. also, my plane was delayed and I actually had just 55 minutes to made the connection.. that was in May this year and I lost my connection... I was lucky enough to have a seat 3.5 hours later the same day... but hopefully the construction is over... I really wish you good luck... Take care.. Luis & Irina

So at the end I made it but if you ask how...

My plane to Paris was delayed 35 minutezs moreover instead of terminal 2C it landed in 2b which means my way to the 2E was even longer.I had to get a shuttle bus then elevator and run then train and again run.anyways boarding was over when i ran and how i get on the plane?short skirt saved me:)i asked and they called car for me to take me to the plane and delayed whole plane for me!!!By the way plane was empty and i had 3 seats to sleep on:)

But My man got call from air France telling i was rejected for the transit visa-which i did not even need by the way..And he had problems meeting me.anyways people air france sucks...I will next time go big time for Aeroflot!
