How does one check if the application was touched ?

We sent in our I-751 more than 5 weeks ago...and the check has not been cashed.

What do I need to have and where do I see that the app. is touched ?

thanks.

You can check for "touches" and updates once you get your NOA. From what others have been posting, it's the receipt number on the NOA with the biometrics appointment that will work. You go to the USCIS Online Case Status page, register and enter your receipt number. Each time the Last Updated date changes on your file, that's considered a touch.
