We got a 221g after interview to provide I-134, most recent IRS tax Transcripts and Passport. Apparently we got a 212a4 public charge. He’s AGI is $26,028. But going through the I-134 form, I’ve realized we did not follow instructions while filling the form, I know instructions exist for filling the form so I downloaded it and sent it to him. So who would have thought he didn’t go by it. We did not add a copy of his birth certificate and bio data of his passport when it’s stated clearly in the instructions that your affidavit of support would be rejected if you didn’t do as instructed. Spaces were left blank instead of NA meanwhile we did same with I-129F and got an RFE to correct it so you would have thought we had learnt our lessons by now lol. Quite exhausting coz when I prompt him for a correction he doesn’t listen.

Fast forward we gathered all documents and this time around he declared his assets(32646) with benefit commencement date in 12/2026 as well, and I added proof of my work experience, license and certificate to practice as a registered per US Embassy policies to overcome public charge in Ghana. And sent them to the Embassy. It been 7 weeks so far and the embassy emailed me that the case is under review and would contact me when completed but if I more evidence I should send it at my earliest convenience

The only reason why I am making this post is because I need help regarding health insurance qoute. My fiance is self employed and is not covered in any health insurance program but we want to send the embassy a health insurance quote that my fiance would get for me when I get to the US to make our case stronger. Any help please

Not sure how a quote would help, but he certainly could look up the local OCare exchange.

I saw a post here where the person stated they got a health insurance quote and they got approved

Don't forget about the income required for I864 if the visa is approved. They are higher than i134. Also the certificate would most likely have no bearing. The petitioner must qualify on their own or get joint sponsor

you can not overcome the public charge using your degree and experience as K1 does not allow u to work until u have completed I 765 for work authorization $520 or gotten green card with AOS $1440 (form I 485)

Ghana is on the list for pausing visa(s) at this time and under this new rule ,  immigration considers K1 as immigrant so a visa will not be issued till ban is over
