During scheduling for my wife's biometric appointment on the IV Scheduling site, I also had to schedule her CFO appointment.  By mistake I entered a date before her interview.  Will she still be able to attend, or how can I change this date?  I thought we wouldn't be able to schedule that until after she got her VISA??

You will have to contact the CFO office and ask them to de-schedule that appointment. You will not be able to change the existing one and she can't go before the visa is issued

Are you sure it was CFO and not OFC?   OFC is the office where the biometrics are done, also known as VAC.

CFO scheduling is a completely different website.

You are correct.  In my haste I confused the two.  The date I entered for the OFC is good, but I entered the wrong date for the IV Consular Appointment.  Now I need to determine how to correct that.

I need some clarification.  Why does the online IV Scheduling for biometrics ask me to choose a date for the interview?  We already have a date that was scheduled by the embassy.  Do I enter that date in??  What am I missing?

Are you selecting Option 1 which says something like (Biometrics appointment for a previously scheduled interview appointment"? Or are you selecting the option to schedule an appointment for "IR-1/CR-1....."? If you have an appointment already scheduled by NVC, you have to use option 1.

I already had an appointment scheduled for May 21.  I must have selected option 2 because it gave me the option of selecting both OFC and IV.

By mistake I selected 12 May for IV.  Now I'm worried that I inadvertently canceled the first appointment of 21 May that the embassy scheduled for us.

Your wife is likely going to be told she cannot attend the interview on the 12th.... I saw a story from Manila on another forum about this. Trying to find the details for you.

So does that mean she is still scheduled for the original appointment for May 21? If so then it's no problem.  I'll just reschedule the OFC appointment.

I do not know the answer on this with any certainty.... I would reach out to their support. I think once you have the appointment scheduled, you have to cancel it and close that case on the website and start a new one and then select option one to just schedule the OFC appointment.

That's what I was also thinking. I have contacted them to verify.

As long as this didn't cancel the initial May 21 appointment then we are ok.

Thanks for the answers.
