Hello friends! I'm here once again, and I need help. :(

Me and my fiance have finally gotten the notice that our petition has been sent to the embassy in my country. This was on 19th of February. Ever since then, despite checking the CEAC case status page every day, every hour, our search always returns as "Your search did not return any data."

We were able to get our invoice ID after an inquiry, so we have that too. Every guide online says to send in the DS-160 after you know your case is in either transit, or "ready." I'm nervous we're missing out on a time limit.

Do we send in our DS-160 despite not knowing where exactly our case is, or do we wait? Does the CEAC website eventually update? It's been almost a week since we got notice that our petition was sent, and I'm nervous. Thank you so much!

you are fine, its just been a week that is like seconds in immigration term, in my opinion it might take between 7-21 days, file ds160 only when it shows ready or you rcv packet 3 (someone from turkey can shed light on this better)

but all in all just realx and give it some more time

wishing you the best in your journey

Are you selecting "immigrant visa" or "non-immigrant visa" on CEAC?  You should select "immigrant Visa".

K-1s are non-immigrant, but they are processed as Immigrant visas.

Ahh I understand, is it normal to see no data in CEAC then? Thank you for your good wishes, likewise!
