Call me surprised.  I have never been a big fan of her's, especially with her over promising and under delivering on quite a few things.  Regardless, she is a lot better than Merrick (thank God McConnell kept him off SCOTUS( Garland.

Pam Bondi crashing out was certainly a sight to behold.

Not so sure she “crashed out” as you say. That would require these committee hearings to have a modicum of actual relevance to policy and governance. Which they do not, by any stretch of the imagination.

i have yet to see video of a committee meeting where the committee members of either side were not intent on grandstanding and demeaning those being questioned, rather than asking substantive policy questions and furthering the dissemination of useful and pertinent information to those in attendance and watching.

When presented with an endless string of attempted “gotcha” questions, inquiries wholly irrelevant to the purpose of the committee in which they’re asked and outright personal attacks, I really don’t blame those in the firing line for responding as the AG did.

The American public deserve much better than the 95% complete hackery that occupies seats in Congress. ☠️

Those types of questions don’t make the MSM.

And that is essentially the problem in this country. Politics has become so much about the power, influence, media headlines and clicks that people have forgotten, for the most part, about good governance, a convergence of ideas and improving the lives of the people government is intended to serve.

Our representatives have forgotten that people elect them to serve, not to seek, from the moment they attain office, to remain in power. Voting against the policies of an incumbent purely out of animus is something that should never be applauded. If the policy is sound, works for the people and improves on what went before, it should be supported, no matter where it originated.

And when a bill is opposed, despite having the support of over 70% of the opposing party’s supporters, those opposing it need to be reminded that they are there to represent, not to dictate. It seems more than a few politicians have forgotten that principle. ☠️
