I am in the exact situation, Montreal is not responsing to my emails, Senator email told me the visa unit was reviewing why my log in was broken over a month ago.

I am stuck and lost at what to do. Havent seen my kids in awhile, this process is so upsetting.

Montreal is extremely back logged. What Visa exactly are you going after? As this threads is 2 years old and things change I want to split your post off and place it in the right area. Also check the Canada forum https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/93-canada/ and these threads out. That forum is a bit slow lately but full of very helpful information for you.

ir1/cr1, approved for DCF, Packet 3 sent to me in november. Told to log into CEAC to file the ds260. Login has been broken, montreal in emails confirmed they typo'd my info and that theyre looking into it. Radio silence ever since.

They sent me a reply in december saying that they corrected my typo'd information and fixed it to different incorrect information that i supplied them in my email. When I told them, that is also incorrect they said, the tech support will get back to me. Ive been stuck in limbo for months now, not sure what to do.

Thanks, I split your question off. Now hopefully others will come an offer help.

DCF is faster, just not fast enough at times. November and December were filler with Holidays too. So all that adds to the delay. They are also very slow just replying to emails. Make sure you used the write words in the Subject line. It helps to get the attention of someone instead of the automailer.

Yea they take 4 days each email. I have a huge email chain with them. Also with the senator who on DEC 31 said their visa unit is reviewing it. I sent them a email again.

A bit it comes up now and then

Contact the senator or congressmen again. Email Montreal again in the Subject line write Urgent Technical problem with site or something like that. Start a new email, do not send the full email trains so it can get new eyes on it.

A writ will drag this out so much more and cost you 8K+ and Montreal will ask for it to be pushed back 2 times, then after you will be told your wait time is not very long. This has been Happening for quite a few years now.

Hello guys, my case was completely broken due to typo from consulate and ceac.

I filed a freedom of information request "I request all data transmission records and logs from USCIS to NVC/CEAC regarding Case #[Your Case Number], specifically including any technical error logs, data mismatch notifications, or administrative alerts that have prevented CEAC login access."

About 3 days later I have a new case file number appointed to me.

Probably just a coincidence. Anyways its fixed.

This is a great relief for you.  And thanks for returning with the happy update.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
