Mystery deepens as to why it took FBI nearly 5 years to finally bust the suspected J6 pipe bomber

 

The arrest of the alleged J6 pipe bomber just piles mystery on top of mystery.

What we know from court documents and media reports since his arrest Thursday is that suspect Brian Cole Jr., is a black, 30-year-old loner who lives in his mom's basement in the middle-class suburb of Woodbridge, Va., a 20-minute drive from Washington, DC.  According to his family, he is borderline autistic, and incapable of such a crime.

In interviews, Cole's grandmother, Loretta Cole, has said he is "very naïve … He's almost autistic-like because he doesn't understand a lot of stuff.

 

"He's slow.  He may be 30, but he's got the mind of a 16-year-old."

 

Yet we are told this alleged criminal mastermind evaded the FBI for almost five years.  [...]

He's black?  I heard Jake Tapper describe him as white?  Do you mean I cannot trust the news coming from Jake Tapper?

 

That being said, Miranda D. has a more than possible conclusion as to why this investigation was stalled for 4 years under a racist Democrat President that was not all there.

There's going to be problems with the case.

 

Mental status and or capacity.

Lack of DNA or physical evidence left behind?

His purchases were a year or so in advance? Unless there is a serial number directly relating to an object left at the scene I just dunno here..

His supposed confession vs reduced capacity will probably be a thing.

Has an interesting family history..

 

His lawyers are showboaters and not good criminal attorneys, so I'm not sure what the angle is going to be here, but I've seen several arguments how he could get off.

It will be interesting to know if he was functioning enough to do this on his own, or was there others assisting him.
