Hi, I am confused as to who creates the case number after the USCIS approves my I-129F.

So....

1-does the NVC or the Designated Embassy creates the cas number?

2- do I ( the petitiononr) reciever the case number or does my forgiven fiance (the beneficiary) recieves it?

3- how will I recieve the case number? Mail or e-mail?

4-how long does it typically take untill we recieve the case number

5- USCIS form I-797 says to contact the NVC if i dont receive a case number with a minimum of 30 days, However, the NVC does not respond to inquiries in regards to non-immigrant visas.

So who should I attempt to contact in this this regard?

Yes they do.... my proof? The replies to the 3 inquiries I made with them for a K-1 visa. How are you inquiring with them? What does your case status on the I-129F say?

when did you petition for the K1?

please create a time line on your portal

Has USCIS completed their process (can take a year)?

Petitioner receives email when case is sent to NVC (at that time USCIS no longer has your case and u will not be able to access info there

NVC will send petitioner the new embassy # (give them a month or so)

after you have embassy case #,  the CEAC site will have status / here it will show up under immigrant

I have received my i-797. USCIS says: Case was approved and notice was sent to NVC.
Also, my method of contact is that  I filled up the contact inquiry form on the NVC website.
could you share in helpful info?

Has the case status of your I-129F changed to, "Case Was Sent To The Department Of State"? If not, then it hasn't been sent yet. I know @JeanneAdil said to give them a month or so, but lately it has been taking 6 weeks or more just for the status of the I-129F to change to what I quoted above. Then it takes a couple of more weeks at least for NVC to receive it, the a couple more weeks for them to process it.

What did you ask them in the inquiry and what was their response?

I asked if they have an update. I have not gotten a response yet. I am assuming its going to take a while before they respond

Make sure you continue to pay attention to the I-129F case status. When it changes to "Case Has Been Sent to the Department of State", give it a couple of weeks and then make the public inquiry with the NVC here:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

When you make the public inquiry with them, there is a button to attach files. Attach the Approval Notice of the I-129F. In that inquiry, ask them for your case number.

Then, in the same inquiry, ask them to update the email addresses for you and her by saying something like:

"I would also like to make sure you have the petitioner and beneficiary emails listed correctly in your system as follows:

Petitioner Name: John Smith

Petitioner email: email@email.com

Beneficiary Name: Jane Jones

Beneficiary email: email@email.com

I have also attached the approval notice for my form I-129F for your review."
