I submitted my i751 a week ago and received my receipt and biometrics appointment date.

However, I noticed that my DOB was incorrect for the online access part, and then checked the submitted form. The year had a typo and was wrong (last digit was supposed to be 2, but I put 4).

What should I do? I am so worried that this will affect my case negatively. Should I submit something online, or wait for the appointment and discuss it there?

Thanks in advance.

First thing I would do is to check what forms have been submitted with the incorrect date. Is it only the I-751 or is it also incorrect on your card?

If it is only the I-751 I'm kind of surprised that the system took the update without spitting out an RFE. If it is correct on all the other forms you've submitted and it is only the I751 I would leave it till the biometrics appointment and bring it up with them.

Personally I am not a fan of trying to get something updated through another form while having an appointment. The chance of the appointment being screwed up because the updated info does not get processed correctly or in time is too high for me.

It is just the one field on I-751. My green card has the right DOB.

I also got the document that says

We have extended the validity period on your Form I-551

So the only thing that is wrong is that date on the I-751. I am guessing I can just bring it up during the biometrics appointment, but I am not sure if they can change anything there.

This may be helpful.  Additionally, if called for an interview, the IO will review the form with you and allow for corrections.  That being said, I would bring it up at your biometrics appointment (if you have one), and also contact USCIS.  Maybe prepare a corrected form to take with you to any appointments you are called for.

Good Luck!
