Oath ceremony scheduled in Troy Mi. The appointment letter mentions "No guests ". Can my husband come In at the uscis location at all or should he wait in the car? 2. How early to arrive before the scheduled oath ceremony? Like its scheduled for 1pm,should I come in at 12pm,11am or earlier? 3. When exactly are you supposed to complete the n445 questionnaire (does it need to be done in front of the uscis officer or can you complete it before arriving to the office)? And when to sign it. ....Anyone who had oath ceremony at this location, can you please share your experience. Thanks.

I think the letter should state how early you need to be there? The rule of thumb is no earlier than 30 mins prior to appointment.

My ceremony (not your field office) did not allow guests either.

I checked the letter but it doesn't mention if I need to arrive 30 mins early or anything. Just states the appointment time i.e 1pm.

Did your spouse wait in the waiting room or something or were they not allowed in at all? Thanks.

Without a letter to add him to list,  he would not be able to go thru security and enter the building

We are ok with him waiting him outside. Just wasn't sure if they have a waiting room or something for spouse's or something since I saw that mentioned in some other people's posts.

FWIW, my letter didn't mention guests one way or the other.  However, on the day, they decided 1 guest despite having a lot of chairs set up.  They claimed it was a fire hazard...  Mine was the second ceremony of the day, so there was a lot of people milling around, not to mention people that were there for their interviews.  There were also volunteers registering people to vote.

That is the building you probably had interview on Stephenson hwy on a third floor. You should ask at the security check ponit, they might let him in. Come just 15 miniutes eralier to give them the application and submit gc.
