Hello all,

Doing standalone I130 for consular processing and my petition was approved but I made a mistake on the form such that section 61 had a YS location for AOS but USCIS took into account the beneficiary's last address and are going to forward it to NVC which is what I want. Anyone else in a similar situation? Also, for my country I just put Pakistan and the NVC should auto-select Islamabad as the embassy correct? That is the only one in the country that does immigrant visas.

We have approved the above petition. However, you indicated on the petition both that the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa through consular processing at a U.S. embassy or a U.S. consulate outside the United States and also that the beneficiary intends to apply for adjustment of status

in the United States. Because the beneficiary's last address on the petition is outside the United States, and you have not informed us that the beneficiary is in the United States and intends to adjust status, we have forwarded the petition to the Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC) for consular processing.”
