If you never filed an application online before, you don't have an online account number. You are assigned a number by USCIS once you file an application online. So if this is your first online application, you will find your online account number on your receipt notice AFTER you have filed.

Good Lord!!!, what's the problem with specifying that in the instructions?

Thank you!

My son already pay the fees for the green card some months ago, and in the tracking information case consult information.... says this:

On April 18, 2025, we received your USCIS Immigrant fee payment for your Permanent Resident Card related to your immigrant visa. We will be processing the request for production of your Permanent Resident Card. You should receive your Permanent Resident Card within 90 days of your entry into the United States or within 90 days after your USCIS Immigrant Fee payment is received

But i have a confusion:

On April 18, 2025, we received your USCIS Immigrant fee payment for your Permanent Resident Card related to your immigrant visa. We will be processing the request for production of your Permanent Resident Card. You should receive your Permanent Resident Card within 90 days of your entry into the United States or within 90 days after your USCIS Immigrant Fee payment is received

he already paid, but the 90 days, even when paid before the entry, will start after he enters to the US? is that right?

if so, then should have been writen:

But that's exactly what it says in the bit you've quoted? It says after payment or entry. It's whichever is later.

I got your point and  i am clear now because YOU mention it.

But what it says if after payment OR entry, not after payment AND entry, i know it a little bit obvious they wouldn't send anything without paying  🤪 BUT i wanted to have it clear.

They won't send anything until he's actually a permanent resident of the US either, and that doesn't happen until he enters on his visa. So he must have paid AND be a LPR to get his green card (which is just proof that he's a LPR).

It says it on the payment page - "If you do not receive your Green Card within 90 days of paying the USCIS Immigrant Fee or entering the United States (if you paid the fee before you arrived)……."

It's also on this page - https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/expect-green-card

When did he actually enter?

Yes, it doesn't matter where he enters from.
