When does case transfered to local

field office? I will be completing full five years next week. It looks like

my case is still at NBC (Emma Chat).

There's no specific timeline, everyones case is unique which can lead to shorter or longer wait times, accompanied by their specific field office.

Can you fill out your timeline so we can see your details?

emma is not accurate

login to your myuscis account

once logged in, type the following into the address bar and replace the XXX with your actual IOE number

then you will be able to see the location

Thank you. I will add my details in few hours. New to this website.

I used to view Trackitt but looks like it is closing/shutting down.

Thanks a lot!

It says

{"data":{"receipt_details":{"form":"N-400","location":"BOS","milnatz":0,"onpt":0,"premproc":0,"receipt_date":"Mon, 29Jun 2025 00:00:00 GMT"

How do I know if it has really transfered to the field

office?

Also, this is the other json:

{"data":{"display_text":"Interview scheduled","milestone":0,"milestone_days_remaining":0,"

time_until_case_decision":"3 Months","time_until_next_milestone":"","outside_normal_processing_time":false,"gpt_call_failed":false},"error":null}

I will complete 5 full years on 23 Sep

Any idea what happens after I hit 5 full years?

(EB based, 90 day early rule)

Very true.

You summed it up nicely. I think what helps me when I wait on these immigration things (lived in 5 counties, been through this a lot), is to focus on the fact that my case is NOT the outlier, and decide not to worry about it until it is. Harder said than done for sure. But it is what I tell myself whenever I reach a state of frustration or impatience or paranoia. Have you checked your API / JSON notes? That helped me bear through the wait.

You may have already found this, but just incase, this is records of people with Newark office who update timeline on VJ. https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/citlist.php?op6=All&op7=Newark+NJ&op1=3&op2=d&op4=1&op5=

Speaking of which, please do update your timeline as it helps others like yourself who are seeking data points.

On the bright side, the more time passes, higher the likelihood your interview invite is around the corner. If I had do wager, I would say you will get yours around the 120 day mark. Wish you the best!

You seem to be at the Boston field office

Since your days remaining are 0, as soon as your anniversary hits, it is likely you will get scheduled same day

Hahaha!

I will once I take the Oath.

Hope we all reach that point soon! 🙏🏽

Keep us updated! You should get the interview soon. Mine was 1 month after 5 year anniversary of being LPR

Interview scheduled October 24 in Troy. My USCIS timeline went from 2 months to decision last week to 4 months. Then I received the email notifying me an action had been taken on my case, Tuesday afternoon. I don't check that email every day so only realized yesterday when I logged in yesterday to check my case status.

Question for people applying via the 3 year rule: Should I take my spouse or should he stay home? I don't want him driving out to Troy just to sit in the car...

Should, some officers need to see spouse.

If you have pending I-751, then you must take spouse.

Looks like the Federal Register Notice will be published tomorrow and will furnish the cut-off date for application of this version of the test. As in it will be administered to applicants who filed after xxxx date.
