6/3 filed online. Biometric reused. 6/12 Interview is scheduled. Waiting for the actual notice to show up but wow USCIS are moving incredibly fast!

Our case is pretty cut and dry. Filed under 5-year rule. Had GC for almost 10 years (married to USC).

Wow congratulations.

How do you know your interview is scheduled if you didn’t get the notice?

Asking because the day I submitted (June 5),  biometrics was waived and my progress changed to step 3, interview scheduled. But I understands it is not actually scheduled yet, it is waiting to be scheduled. My status still says actively reviewing.

Did that status change for you?

Here's all statuses from my history:

1) We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and sent you a receipt notice.

2) We are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records showed
nothing is outstanding at this time.

3) We scheduled an interview for your Form N-400 Application for Naturalization

4) Your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, was placed in line for oath ceremony scheduling.

5) We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your
case was submitted for quality review.

6) We scheduled you for an oath ceremony for your
Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.

7) Certificate Of Naturalization Was Issued

Statuses 1 and 2 were updated on the day I filed.

Status 3 came few months later.

Statuses 4, 5, 6 and 7 changed on the day of my interview which was the same day when I naturalized.

That’s awesome.

I was listening to Attorney Jim Hacking’s show earlier today and he also talked about one of his clients who just submitted N400 getting interview notice within 2 weeks of application.

May I ask which field office?

Just reporting from reading May 2025 filer thread - Two additional people who filed on June 4, got interview scheduled end of July.

That's 4 cases now of people who filed first week of June and got interview date scheduled within a week of application.

Three of those have been confirmed to have submitted under 5 year rule though, so it maybe that would be part of the criteria for such a speedy scheduling of interview. But I am still hoping those of us under 3 year rule don't have to wait too much longer :D

I'm on step 3, so does that mean the interview is already scheduled or will be scheduled? I haven't received anything stating the scheduled date.

Please see my progress :

That's the current/next step. It's kinda confusing, I know. You'll notice it doesn't have a checkmark like steps 1 & 2. Once the interview is scheduled, you'll see the checkmark, and it'll move to the next step.
