Hi all, 

 

Attended my biometrics appointment today and 2 hours later had a text to say my case status was updated. When I logged in, I saw the below:

 

 

Does this mean I won't need to be interviewed?

It happened to Jaycel’s status too… I think it’s from back when they used to waive most interviews. There have been reports of people having that status marked complete and then a few months later they get an interview notice. Best to expect and prepare to have an interview so that you’re mentally prepared

Mine updated the same way after my Biometrics the other day. I would still expect and prepare to have an interview

An easy to assumption to make.  Most of us in pending have the step 3 already checked.  USCIS is notoriously inaccurate on those statuses.  The trend has been to interview; having step 3 already checked is no indicator yours has been waived.

You did your biometrics, they updated your case, meaning they noted in the system that your biometrics were taken, now sit tight and wait for your interview while gathering your documents for proof.
