Hello, just wondering if anyone else has a recent estimate of wait time between DQ and their interview letter for the Warsaw Consulate. My husband and I are waiting on a CR1 visa and were DQ'ed 4/18/24. It's been several months, and I am wondering how much further we might have to go. Thank you!

This is what I knew sometimes can happen within the frame workload.

If the documents you uploaded are deemed Document Qualified (DQ), NVC schedules the embassy interview. Currently, this is taking about 2 weeks after DQ. Therefore, the current range is between 8–10 weeks to schedule the embassy interview after NVC receives all the required documents.

The US Visa appointment wait times can change weekly based on workload and staff availability

That is why I am confused. We received an email saying we are DQ'ed from NVC and that when the consulate has appointments available, they will schedule us. However, it has been over 12 weeks at this point (we were DQ'ed 4/18/24), which seems like quite a long time.

It could take a few weeks to a year or more from DQ to interview being scheduled.  It depends on the queue for your consulate at NVC.  Here is the process for immigrant visas:

1. Case is DQ'd by NVC.

2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC.

3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month.

4. NVC schedules interviews for cases at the front of the line.

5. NVC schedules your  interview when your case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate.

6. NVC notifies person of interview date via email.

7. NVC then sends case to consulate.

After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Be patient, as l said from my experience that the US Visa appointment wait times can change based on workload and staff availability . And l believe you are almost there looking at the months you waited until now.

Good luck 👍

So my guess yours should be showing in the next couple of weeks.  I was chatting with someone on Reddit that is doing a CR1 and he received his IL exactly 12 weeks after and also his interview is 2 August.  I know I've also read that they were backed up bc of the other types of Visas for students and Visa lottery, and that they usually release the Visas for the month like the first week of the month.  Not sure if it helps but keep me posted when you get it!  I just got DQ 10 July so I'm hoping that the 12 weeks period comes back by then.
