Wasn't Gilligan's Island was it?

It was indeed! Not the actual filming location, just stood in for the island during the opening sequence in the 2nd and 3rd seasons. Only one general direction you can look at it for it to appear to be in the middle of no where. Also far smaller than the island is supposed to be. The island used for those scenes in the first season is in the Bahamas. The marina in the opening sequence where the Minnow is shown leaving port is also on Oahu, but I didn't get a chance to take a picture of that; still looks the same, though.

Whoever said Hawaii was not a tourist mecca did not go on your tour!!! :P

Hehe, there was LOTs to see! Btw, if you were looking in the direction of the first photo on the morning of December 7th, 1941, you would have seen one of the waves of the Japanese attack force. Also saw the location of the radar installation where the Japanese planes were spotted, but assumed to be our own planes returning from California. And spent a whole day at Pearl Harbour, including our own private tour of the Missouri :P
