2024 Denver Field Office N400 Filers

Hello everyone, 😁 I've started this thread to connect with others who have filed the N400 form at the Denver field office in 2024. Information about the processing times at this office is scarce, and while many individuals choose not to update their citizenship timelines on VisaJourney—which is completely understandable and a personal decision—I firmly believe that sharing these experiences embodies the true spirit of VisaJourney.

Here's my timeline for reference:

- **February 25, 2024:** Became eligible for citizenship under the 3-year marriage rule. This date marks the 90-day eligibility window.

- **March 25, 2024:** Submitted our N400 application online.

- **March 25, 2024:** Received NOA1 acknowledgment of acceptance.

- **March 25, 2024:** Received an online notice regarding the reuse of biometrics.

- **May 25, 2024:** Reached the official eligibility date for citizenship based on the 3-year marriage rule.

No additional updates at this moment.

Thank you for this info. I'm planning to apply mine this month. I'm way past my 3year eligibility rule. I'm here 8years now in the US. My husband is a federal employee who is part of the military service for 14yrs. I was hoping to get mine soon because we're planning to travel by the end of this year. This is hoping for the best! And I'm thankful for this timeline information. Bless your journey.. 🤍

Are you eligible under under general 5 year rule?

Yes, the evidence required is different depending on the 3year or 5year rule.  If you are past the 5years of being an LPR, then it would be a 5year filing.

I know several folks that filed N-400 based on marriage in the last 6 months or so, all at the Denver field office. In every case, they did their interview within a week or so after their actual 3-year eligibility date (after filing in the allowed 90 days prior).

do you think the wait would be longer or shorter if I'm way past my 3 year eligibility? I'm actually past 5 year eligibility too.. I don't know if that even matters. my processing time online says 8 months right now.. I'm hoping it will be a little faster than that..

I assume shorter if anything then. The one person I know in that situation did his N400 interview maybe two months after filing.

Did you apply under 3 or 5 year rule? Do you have pending I-751? Which field office? Estimated processing time is a random number.

Not sure. I selected married to us citizen. So I'm guessing 3 year rule. But I'm past the 3 years.. My I 751 was approved a long time ago. June 2021 I think. Field office should be Denver CO. 😁

I figured the time estimate was typical USCIS nonsense.
