Having an extremely hard time finding any I-130 timeline for a sister from Thailand

I go to Immigration Timelines above, and I don't even SEE the I-130 listed. We submitted the I-130 for my wife's sister (my wife is a naturalized citizen) June of 2021 and USCIS website says the processing time for 80% of applications is 49 months at the California Service Center, but as I read it can take 10-15 years to actually bring her sister here. What I am trying to figure out, is what is the step-by-step process after that and how long for each step can I expect? I posted my wife's timeline here listing every single step of the way but I cannot find a sample timeline for an I-130 for her to bring her sister. Can anyone point me to some sample timelines?

It does not really matter how long the I 130 takes as long as it is completed before the the PD is current.

 

And the longer it takes usually the better if she has or will have children, does she have children?

 

They do not seem to rush the I 130 knowing it does not really matter.

 

Not sure where you saw the 10-15, but basically she files the I 130 and then basically forget about it, maybe check in 2040 and see how they are going.

The petition you cite is used for many family members.  Your wife's timeline is not relevant to a sibling timeline, which will likely take more than 20 years, as you were told in your last thread.

The Forum here seems to have changed - not seeing how to reply to individuals - but she does have one son... Her husband passed away and now she and her son are having a hard time financially and that's why we want her to come to the US. Why her having a son make the I-130 process faster? Regarding the time line, I have read over and over and over again that it takes many years - I am TRYING to learn the steps in the process.

So she filed a couple of years ago, next thing to happen would be a couple of years prior to the Priority date becoming current, say early 2040's? Nobody knows precisely.

 

So I would diary it for 2040 and see how things have gone, you should have a much better idea by then how much longer it will take.

 

Whether the son will come up or not depends on how old he is and how much longer the I 130 takes to get approved, he really needs the I 130 to take a long time.

Because the timelines are so long no one really completes timelines it seems...

You don't really have to worry about the I-130. 

Your wife's sister should start playing the DV lottery every year. She might not be selected but if she is she will be able to come to the US sooner.
