That's great to hear. I came across comments in other forums advising people to wait till 5years to avoid interrogation, but I think the sooner anyone can get citizenship, the better cos policies are changing way too fast these days.

no that is not true. Just apply you will be fine.

Hi everyone, i have my i485 interview on Tuesday, my lawyer is unable to attend but they said they will be present virtually (phone). does anyone know what questions i should expect? Do i need to take any tax documents?/ what other documents do i need to take? with this administration and the news about people beig taken from their green card interviews, i am scared (i don't have any removal notices)

You should be fine without lawyer. They should only ask you yes/no questions. If they ask you anything related to VAWA and you are uncomfortable with it you can always ask for a supervisor.

Annnnnd it's Wednesday, time for our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke:

===========================================
THE MISSING ANGEL

A man walking down the street suddenly heard a tiny voice above him, saying, "If you take one more step, a brick will land on your head and kill you."

Surprised, the man stopped just as a huge brick crashed down right in front of him.

Stunned, he continued on his way, and after a few minutes heard the voice again:  "Stop!  Don't cross the road!  If you do, the next vehicle will run you over!"

The man froze and avoided being hit by a speeding car.  He sighed in relief and asked the air, "Who ARE you?"

"I am your guardian angel," said the voice joyfully.

"Really?" said the man in sudden anger.  "Then where were you when I got MARRIED?"

:P
