If you fill in your timeline, it will give you an estimated approval date.  You should have gotten a receipt notification (NOA1) by now.  The decision (NOA2) will be many months from now.  The current processing time on USCIS website shows 15 months.  That is a historical time, meaning they have completed 80% of the cases filed 15 months ago.  It is not really a predictor of how long cases filed today will take, but it probably won't be too far off.

Thank you so much for your kind comments…I really appreciate. I have good news to share… I just got approved!!! I’m in so much disbelief right now that I’m about to pass out. I was talking to my fiancée when the confirmation popped up on my screen. For those who are still waiting, you are next online. Good luck 🍀

That's very kind of you, but we still encourage you to post your timeline to assess progress.  Getting a confirmation can mean different things, depending on the stage you are in.  So good luck to you as well!

Hi…You are absolutely right. So far we just got an approval. The next step is the NVC stage, so still a couple of process involved.

Congrats! After status changes to "Sent to DOS" you may contact AskNVC https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html to get your NVC number.

Hi guys, I just want to let you know that everything went well. I finally got my visa on the 7th of August 2024.

The interview was smooth and lasted within 10 mins. If you would like me to share more of my experiences feel free to ask me anything.

Thanks for coming back!  Could you perhaps fill out your timeline so all users can learn from your experience?
