Weird message on USCIS website

Hi I logged into to my portfolio on the USCIS website to see if I had any touches on my AOS and found this message:

Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

Case Status Retrieval Failed

The status for this Receipt Number is incomplete at this time in this automated system and can not be displayed. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number. See the FAQs for additional information on this system.

Has anyone ever came across this message? And does anyone know what it means?

Maybe they are currently updating the status.

My AP case number is returning that same error message. I wouldn't worry about it. I called the Customer Service line this morning, and they told me that their case status systems are slow to update right now. As long as you have your NOA, your case is pending.

Keep trying the case number every day. It will work eventually.

So I'm not the only one who's been checking everyday? I haven't checked though since Friday. (not that anything can really be done on the weekend anyways). I am finding it very discouraging to look and see that it still has not been touched:( I imagine all the cases sitting there collecting dates and having coffee spilled all over them:(

yes, i saw the same message online, when i tried to log my wife's applications online. she then called them and they said it is okay, as long as you have the NOA1 and the biometric appointment mails. this type of application takes time to show on uscis website.

Updating their system or updating cases? Wishful thinking I know:) I was able to log on and see that my case has not been updated. So they must've updated the system and forgot about all the cases in there:( Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.
